Boroptik as Cable Systems Supplier in Telecom/Energy/Transportation Sectors:
Boroptik has become one of the leading companies supplying underwater/submarine energy and fiber optic cables to Turkey and various overseas markets. Boroptik is the authorized representative of China's largest cable manufacturer and the second largest cable manufacturer in the world in Turkey. The cables supplied by Boroptik are successfully used in various submarine projects in Turkey such as 1915 Canakkale Bridge, BOTAŞ North Marmara Natural Gas Storage Project and in marine regions such as Bosphorus, Golden Horn, Marmara, Aegean and Mediterranean Sea. Boroptik has a long-term submarine / underwater fiber optic cable supply contract with Türk Telekom. and is also an accredited supplier of Vodafone and Turkcell / Superonline Inc.
Boroptik has so far supplied more than 200 km of underwater/submarine energy and fiber optic cables to the Turkish market and has completed turnkey projects, including underwater laying in various projects. In energy sector has supplied a total of 694km Type 95-24 and 88-24 OPGW optical ground wire for use in electrical transmission lines for TEİAŞ (Turkish Electricity Transmission Company) TEİAŞ elektrik iletim hatlarında kullanımda toplamda 694km Tip 95-24 ve 88-24 OPGW optik koruma iletkeni temin etmiştir.
